FG Partners YEIDEP to Create 12 Million Jobs for Nigerian Youths

In a significant move to tackle youth unemployment, the Federal Government has partnered with the Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme (YEIDEP) to generate 12 million jobs for Nigerian youths. This partnership, announced officially on March 6, 2025, is part of a broader initiative to provide sustainable economic opportunities and reduce youth unemployment across Nigeria.

Minister of Youth Development, Comrade Ayodele Olawande, confirmed the partnership, emphasizing the importance of empowering young Nigerians economically. He explained, “Our aim is to create sustainable platforms where youths can become entrepreneurs, thus significantly reducing unemployment, alleviating poverty, and contributing positively to national development.”
