Niger Delta University Admission Rules 2024/2025
If you have chosen a course at Niger Delta University (NDU) and want to apply through Direct Entry or UTME, you must meet the following rules to be eligible for admission.
UTME Rules
For students applying through JAMB (UTME), the following conditions must be met:
- You must have at least 5 credit passes in SSCE/GCE Ordinary Level. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- You must choose the correct JAMB subject combination as given in the JAMB Brochure for your course.
- You must score at least 180 marks in the JAMB UTME exam.
- You must be at least 16 years old at the time of admission.
Direct Entry (DE) Rules
For students applying through Direct Entry, the following conditions must be met:
- You must have at least 5 credit passes in SSCE/GCE Ordinary Level. These must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
- You must have ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects related to the course you want to study. Other accepted qualifications include JUPEB/A Level passes or a degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in a related subject.
- You must have at least a Merit Pass in National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), or other advanced certificates.
- You must apply for admission through both JAMB and the NDU Portal.
