FUTA Pre-Degree Program 2024/2025
The Federal University of Technology Akure has said that the pre-degree form is now on sale. Anyone who wants to join the program can now buy the form. The form costs Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000). You can buy it on the FUTA pre-degree website.
The pre-degree program is a short course. It helps students move from secondary school to university. This program takes about 9 months. After finishing it, students can get admission into the university without writing the UTME exam.

Who Can Apply for FUTA Pre-Degree Form 2024/2025
If you want to study in the pre-degree program at FUTA, you must meet the rules below:
- You must have at least five subjects with credit passes. You should get these in not more than two sittings.
- English Language and Mathematics must be part of the five subjects.
- If you want to study courses like Estate Management, Industrial Design, Urban and Regional Planning, Agricultural Economics and Extension, Ecotourism and Wildlife Management, Fisheries and Aquaculture Technology, or Crop Soil and Pest Management — a pass in Physics is okay.
- If you want to study Architecture, a pass in Chemistry is okay.
- If your results are not complete yet, you can still apply. But you must complete all the needed results before the 9-month program ends. If not, you cannot move to the next level.

How to Apply for FUTA Pre-Degree Form 2024/2025
To apply for the FUTA pre-degree program, you must pay a fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000). This fee cannot be returned. Follow the steps below:
- Visit the FUTA application website.
- Click on “Create Account Here.”
- Select your program, like PDS or UABS.
- After that, log in with your username and password.
- Go to the “Payment” area and make an invoice.
- You will get a payment number called RRR code.
- Use this code to pay the ₦20,000 fee. You can pay at any bank or online through the Remita website.
- If you already have the RRR code, you can also pay online with your ATM card.
- After you pay, log in again to the FUTA portal.
- Fill the form and submit it.
- Print the form and the slip for screening.
After applying, watch for news about the screening. Go to the screening at the right time. Try to apply early, so you do not miss the closing date.
