FUPRE Pre-Degree Admission Form 2024/2025
The Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE) has released the Pre-Degree Admission Form for the 2024/2025 session. This program is for students who did not write or pass the 2024 UTME but still want to study at FUPRE.
With this Pre-Degree program, you do not need to take JAMB to get admission. However, you must meet the university’s O’Level requirements. The program lasts for one academic year (two semesters) and helps students gain admission into the 100-level at FUPRE.

Who Can Apply for FUPRE Pre-Degree Admission 2024/2025
For this admission, you do not need to write JAMB. But you must meet these conditions:
- You must have at least five (5) credits in important subjects, including English and Mathematics. These credits must be from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB, and you can use results from up to two sittings.
- If your WAEC or NECO results are not yet out, you can still apply. But you must meet the requirements when your results are released.

How to Apply for FUPRE Pre-Degree Admission 2024/2025
You can apply for the FUPRE Pre-Degree Program online. Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Click on the Apply Here link to begin.
- Enter your Full Name, Email Address, and Phone Number correctly.
- The system will automatically set the Session, Type of Application, Amount, and Processing Charge.
- Choose your payment method:
- Debit Card (MasterCard, VISA, Verve): If you pick this, you will be taken to a secure page where you enter your card details and make the payment.
- Bank Payment: If you want to pay at a bank, print the Payment Invoice with your RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) Number and take it to any commercial bank to make the payment.
- After payment, go back to the portal and fill out the application form carefully.
- Check all your details to make sure they are correct.
- Click Submit to complete your application.
- Print your confirmation slip as proof that you have applied.
Important Note: Applicants must write an exam. Those who pass and get admission will have to pay ₦25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand Naira) as an acceptance fee.
Important Information About Withdrawal and Fees
If a student gets admission and later decides to leave the program, the school will not return the fees paid. This means that once you pay for tuition and other charges, you cannot get the money back, no matter the reason for withdrawal.
Because of this, students should think carefully before making the payment. All fees are not refundable after admission is given.
