Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must meet the requirements below based on their type of entry.
For UTME Candidates:
- Must choose ESUT as the first choice during UTME registration.
- Must have a UTME score of at least 160. For Medicine and Surgery, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Pharmacy, and Law, a score of 200 is required.
- Must have at least five (5) credit passes in important subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. These results should not be from more than two sittings in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.
- Must take part in the ESUT Post-UTME screening and get the required score for the chosen course.
- Must be at least 16 years old when applying for admission.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates:
- Must have at least two (2) A-Level passes or an equivalent qualification in relevant subjects.
- Applicants with OND, NCE, or HND certificates must have an Upper Credit in the relevant field.
- Must meet the O’Level subject requirements for the chosen course.
- Direct Entry candidates must apply through JAMB Direct Entry and take part in the ESUT screening process.
