If you want to enter Bells University of Technology, Ota for the 2024/2025 session, you must follow the school rules for admission.
There are rules for both UTME (JAMB exam) and Direct Entry students.
Below are the full details:
UTME Admission Rules
- Every student must register for the JAMB UTME exam and pick Bells University of Technology as the first choice. If you did not pick it first, you can change your school choice through JAMB.
- The lowest JAMB score to enter Bells University is 180. Some courses may need a higher score.
- Students must have at least five (5) credit passes in important subjects. These must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other subjects related to the course they want to study. These credits should be from WAEC, NECO, GCE, or NABTEB and must be gotten in not more than two sittings.
- Students must be at least 16 years old when applying.
- After meeting these rules, students must take part in the Bells University Post-UTME screening.
- The screening may include an online test, checking of documents, or an interview.
Direct Entry Admission
Students who want to enter Bells University through Direct Entry must have one of these:
- OND (Ordinary National Diploma): Must have at least Lower Credit in a related course from a known polytechnic.
- NCE (National Certificate in Education): Must have at least Merit in a related subject.
- HND (Higher National Diploma): May enter at the 300 level in some cases.
- IJMB, JUPEB, or A-Level Certificate: Must have at least two A-Level passes in subjects related to the course they want to study.
Direct Entry students must also have five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB, including English Language, Mathematics, and three other related subjects. These results must be gotten in not more than two sittings.
Students must also register for JAMB Direct Entry (DE).
