Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Students at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU)
Students who want to apply for admission at ATBU through UTME must meet the following conditions:
- Must be at least 16 years old at the time of application.
- Must have at least 5 credit passes in O’level exams (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB). These must include English and Mathematics and should not be in more than two sittings before admission.
- Must select Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) as the first choice of institution during JAMB registration.
- Must score at least the minimum cut-off mark in JAMB (UTME) to qualify for the ATBU Post UTME and admission screening.
Admission Requirements for Direct Entry Candidates at Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU)
Students applying for Direct Entry admission at ATBU must meet these conditions:
- ATBU accepts IJMB and JUPEB A’level results, but candidates must have a strong score.
- Candidates must obtain the Direct Entry form through JAMB and the ATBU school portal.
- Candidates must have at least 5 credit passes in O’level exams (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), including English and Mathematics. These must be from not more than two sittings before applying.
